The aim of the Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism Residency Program is to prepare the resident to meet the objectives of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and to be eligible for the Certificate of Competence in Endocrinology and Metabolism.
The trainee is encouraged to pursue training which leads to an academic career in pediatric endocrinology and metabolism. Thus, research training in addition to the clinical training such as enrolment in the Royal College Clinician-Investigator Program (CIP) is encouraged.
