The goal of this program is to train healthcare professionals capable of working in French in Ontario. Applicants must have knowledge of the basic principles in psychology and linguistics and, once admitted, they will receive specialized training in the field of communication disorders.

The speech-language stream trains clinicians qualified to diagnose voice and swallowing disorders, resonance disorders, disorders involving the voice and speech such as stuttering, swallowing disorders, communication disorders of neurological origin and developmental language and speech disorders in children.
